We had a fantastic experience with Aura Kitchens. The initial design phase was very professional and detailed with layout and changes made electronically so we can get a good idea of the floorplan. The good advice from Happy, and the easy and comfortable way he dealt with us was amazing. We made a complete custom kitchen and laundry by showing pictures of what we like and Aura created it for us exactly like we wanted and within our budget. We are now working with them a second time since we liked the first job so much.

We had our full Kitchen and Living Room wall unit made from Aura kitchens. A fair size cabinets manufacturer /retailer. I was able to work one-on-one with both Mr. Onkar Singh and his partner Mr. Preet Singh, a highly knowledgeable and experienced team.

Preet’s factory built all cabinets from scratch locally in their Mississauga plant. Prices weren’t actually much different from pre-built, and this offered us the ability to do whatever we wanted with the layout. Realistically cabinets are just boxes, where you can really make it or break it on price is the board materials, hardware and the doors. In our case he built the cabinets in my neighborhood.

Preet and his team are so friendly, professional, and skillful in both workmanship and qualities. They finished our complete kitchen including quartz island and a full wall unit for our living room within just a few days. Preet was able to get me not only a custom-built high quality kitchen, but also a super responsible services and supports. Whatever Preet promised, he delivered. Plus, when one piece came in with a slight blemish in the cabinet surfaces, they insisted on taking it back and having the cabinet redo and replaced. And all of this was completed within the same week.

Having done it this way, I’ll never do pre-fab cabinets again. I wouldn’t even think of going to a big box place after my experience working with Preet and his company.

Aura designed and fitted a brand new custom kitchen in our house this year as part of an entire first floor renovation, and I am very pleased with it. Onkar (the owner) and Preet were amazing to work with, very accommodating, patient, and responsive when there were issues to be resolved.

The design work that Happy (our site manager) did was very good and whenever I met with him in person he was excellent to deal with. However, when communicating over text or phone he was not very responsive, and there were a couple of times I really needed him onsite but he did not come. However, when I reported this to Onkar, he came instead so I was very pleased about that.

Onkar will work with you to accommodate any budget or scope of work, and was very up front about what things will cost. I was especially pleased with the subcontractor Onkar recommended for the electrical and structural work, Joe from EJL Design & Contracting. Joe’s work ethic is exceptional and his quality of work reflects this. I was not quite as happy with the flooring subcontractor, Best Bargain Carpets. The owner was very polite and eager, but I think he overextended his resources. There were several instances when they did not show up as promised, and I wasn't very happy with the flooring crew they sent - both days they were late and then had to stay til 9pm in order to finish the job. The carpet guy they sent, Stefan, was fantastic though.

Despite the ups and downs I am very happy with the final results and would definitely recommend Aura if you are looking to install a new kitchen. Issues will arise during ANY renovation project – let’s face it, large reno projects are painful, messy and inconvenient! However, it is how the company/contractor handles the issues that really counts. I found Onkar to be a very kind and honest man whose end goal was a happy and satisfied customer. This is a rare thing these days! Thank you Onkar for my beautiful new kitchen – I love it! See before and after photos (although they may be in the wrong order!)

From the start when we discussed kitchen design to the installation and finish everyone at Aura were friendly, open and helpful in a professional manner. We were shown the kitchen at the factory as it was being built and were given ideas as to any changes that would be an improvement. Preet and his installation team were very skillful and a pleasure to work with. They were patient and respected our concerns and requests, they built our dream kitchen that exceeded our expectations. We had our kitchen remodeled by Aura Kitchen just before COVID, and from the first encounter, we were sure that we had picked the right company. When we encountered a small issue (a few months ago) that needed fixing, Preet Singh was incredibly professional and accommodating. The service was outstanding — Preet listened to our problem attentively and resolved the issue within a few days.

His team was knowledgeable and understanding, quickly matching the color we needed and completing the installation flawlessly. Their customer service was excellent throughout the process. They were not only professional and helpful, but also genuinely cared about ensuring our satisfaction.
